Visual Artist & Graphic Designer

Currently @Panraxgroupllc Position: Product designer Remote

Rafsan Hossain (born c. 2004) is a Bangladeshi visual artist and graphic designer, recognized for his work in branding, packaging, publication, and digital design. Active since 2020, he has collaborated with startups, individuals, and established companies worldwide, and currently works part-time with the U.S.-based Panrax Group.

Early Life and Education
Hossain was born in Hugli, a village in Noakhali, Bangladesh. He completed his secondary education there before moving to Dhaka, where he finished his college studies. Alongside his formal education, he enrolled in a professional graphic design course, which lasted nearly a year and provided him with structured training to complement his self-driven practice. He is currently pursuing an undergraduate program.
Hossain’s creative journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic. What started as a personal hobby gradually transformed into a professional pursuit; by 2022, he had chosen to establish himself as a graphic designer. Since then, he has gained more than three years of experience in the field.

Career
Freelance Work (2020 – Present)
Hossain began his career as a freelancer, working with both startups and established brands. His freelance portfolio includes logo design, rebranding, book and zine layouts, interactive EPUB publications, packaging, labels, social media content, brochures, flyers, and photo manipulation. His clients have ranged from individuals to companies such as Enterprise Tint, CloudLeads, and Cyberation.

Panrax Group (2024 – Present)
In 2024, Hossain joined Panrax Group, a U.S.-based confectionery manufacturer, under a contractual Upwork agreement. His work has focused on designing packaging for Panrax’s brands, including A Great Surprise, Lalees, Dooboe, Yamees, and Swirleey. He has also produced mockups, photo retouching, and 3D product models to support product identity, Amazon marketplace listings, and social media campaigns.

Artistic Style and Interests
Hossain is known for combining storytelling with visual design, creating works that balance creativity with strategic communication. He frequently experiments with new tools and unfamiliar techniques, emphasizing exploration as a driving force in his artistic growth.
Outside of design, Hossain is a passionate film enthusiast, having watched over 700 films and web series. He holds particular admiration for Game of Thrones, which he cites as influential for its visual grandeur and compelling storytelling.

• a-note-from-Rafsan

Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated by the idea of turning imagination into something people can see and connect with. At first, creating was simply a way for me to express myself, but over time I discovered how much joy there is in watching others resonate with what I make. That simple exchange, an idea leaving my head and finding meaning in someone else’s world, is what drives me to keep creating.

When I stumbled into design during the pandemic, it did not feel like just a skill I was learning. It felt like a path that combined everything I cared about: storytelling, visuals, and problem-solving. What began as a hobby quickly became a commitment, and I have not looked back since.

Now I work on branding, packaging, and digital experiences with the hope that my designs do more than just look good. I want them to carry stories and emotions that connect with people, no matter where they are in the world.
